Winner - Curator’s Prize Heallreaf 5

I’m over the moon to have been awarded the Curator’s Prize at Heallreaf 5 for The Leat.

It is such an honour to be part of this exhibition, and to have work alongside pieces from weavers I have admired for years.

After the Morley Gallery, the exhibition will move to Farfield Mill, Cumbria in January 2025 for the final leg of the tour.

I am delighted to have been selected as a finalist for this biennial award, with Snowberries. An exhibition of finalists will take place in Melbourne from 31 July - 18 October.

This year 137 finalists were selected representing 16 countries. A catalogue of all the finalists and more details about the award will be available soon on the ATW website.

The Loom Shed Weekend Workshop

I had a fabulous time at the Loom Shed this June, as a visiting tutor for a two-day tapestry workshop. This specialist textile studio is a celebration of all things fibre; from crochet and textiles, to knitting and dyeing. An inspirational place, to learn and create.

As one of the oldest and most highly regarded arts and crafts societies in the UK, it aims to “promote and support the work of creative thinkers, designers and makers who innovate through their exploration of materials and skills.”
